Objectives
- By the end of the workshop participants will have a better understanding of the four criteria and what constitutes a low-level concern.
- By the end of the workshop participants will be familiar with and understand the definition of the four categories of abuse.
- By the end of the workshop participants will have a better understanding of the various processes available to investigate an allegation (including the three processes within the managing allegations procedure).
- By the end of the workshop participants will be familiar with the available resources to support reflection and decision-making in their practice.
Prerequisite learning
- Guidance document to be accessed in pre-course materials. Delegates will need to read prior to the workshop and have available to them for the workshop for both virtual and face to face sessions.
- Participant will need to read and understand part 4 of KCSiE 2022 (pages 87 – 104)
- All participant's need to be familiar with their own settings policy and procedures for managing allegations and low level concerns
Cost: This course is fully funded by the SSCP, however a holding fee of £70 will be charged on booking and will be refunded in full upon attendance
