Detail:

In aid of the 10th anniversary of National Child Exploitation Day, Somerset Childrens Services are holding a Child Exploitation roadshow on Tuesday 19th March, at Wells City Football Club Rowden’s Rd, BA5 1TU, from 09.30-1pm.

The aim of the multi-agency roadshow is to highlight the issues surrounding Child exploitation, encouraging everyone to think, spot and speak out against abuse and adopt a zero tolerance to child exploitation.

We are delighted to be joined by the National Working Group (online) to deliver a session on Working with Parents as Safeguarding Partners, and Community Bystander approach.

Somerset Council's Child Exploitation team will lead an interaction session, encouraging partners to work together to discuss and solve group activities. Further guest speakers to be arranged.

This roadshow is a multi-agency event for practitioners who work with young people at risk of exploitation.

Let’s continue to work together to keep children safe in their communities.
