Welcome to our Spotlight session!

Spotlight sessions are a series of multi-agency interactive workshops, that will be running throughout the year.

Each sessions will be focusing on a set topic, with the opportunity for discussion and the sharing of knowledge to enhance your engagement and work with children, young people, families and colleagues.

These sessions will be focusing on areas to enhance discussion, ability and knowledge to engage and work alongside children, young people, families and colleagues. It’s a chance to be able to link in with other professionals, talk through and explore the importance of the topics covered, as well as capture the impacts it can have and how we can create better outcomes for those families we come in to contact with.

In this Spotlight session, we will be hosting a workshop focusing on What is & What if, which will be facilitated by Lorraine Horler.

Lorraine is a consultant social worker who has a passion for ensuring the correct pathways and processes are followed,  to achieve the best possible outcomes for the families we work with.  Lorraine has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share around understanding Strats, PLO, MASH discussion and Child Protection plans.

During this hour you will get a chance to understand these areas, what they mean and the impact it can have on the families  that you interact with.

Come and get involved in this informal session to help spark creativity, develop or widen your knowledge and share practice amongst others to help us make a difference.
