Welcome to our Spotlight session!

Spotlight sessions are a series of multi-agency interactive workshops, that will be running throughout the year.

Each sessions will be focusing on a set topic, with the opportunity for discussion and the sharing of knowledge to enhance your engagement and work with children, young people, families and colleagues.

These sessions will be focusing on areas to enhance discussion, ability and knowledge to engage and work alongside children, young people, families and colleagues. It’s a chance to be able to link in with other professionals, talk through and explore the importance of the topics covered, as well as capture the impacts it can have and how we can create better outcomes for those families we come in to contact with.

In this brand-new Spotlight session, we will be hosting a workshop focusing on

Language that Cares,

which will be facilitated by Corrina Bryant.

Corrina is a Consultant Social Worker who has a passion for ensuring language is used in a way which helps to promote understanding, resulting in successful outcomes for children and young people.

During this hour we will also be looking at potential barriers that occur due to poor communication, the power the language has, the voice of the child and much more!

Come and get involved in this informal session to help spark creativity, develop or widen your knowledge and share practice amongst others to help us make a difference.
