Sharing Knowledge Informing Practice
Developing relationships, sharing knowledge and skills, improving outcomes.
Let’s get creative, at a time whereby services across the system are stretched and working relentlessly to support children and families to achieve positive outcomes, we’re relaunching the Sharing Knowledge Informing Practice sessions within areas, providing everyone with the time and opportunity to connect, build relationships, collaborate, network, learn together, support one another, and eat cake.
You may have attended previous Sharing Knowledge Informing Practice sessions in one of the four areas across Somerset, and whilst these are coordinated by Consultant Social Workers (CSWs) partnership input into planning, preparation and delivery is essential.
The SSCP conferences are always a great success, the plan is to hold two Sharing Knowledge Informing Practice sessions per area, per year to keep momentum going in between the annual SSCP conference. CSWs will be linking across the partnership to ensure multi-agency input providing a positive addition for us all working together, inspiring practitioners, and achieving outstanding practice.
The plan is to identify key themes within areas to provide a focus within these sessions, dependant on themes we plan to commission a relevant guest speaker to present at one session per year in each area.
To maximise the impact across the communities in Somerset, we want to encourage all practitioners from the voluntary sector, all agencies, individuals / teams across the partnerships to attend.
Please book a session from the options available to be a part of multi-agency networking and workshop sessions building stronger threads to support practitioner / area confidence, empathy, and compassion across the system, to support the continued drive to achieve outstanding outcomes for the children, families, and communities we work with
