This eLearning is specifically for Childminders only who are wishing to attend the Advanced Child Protection Update training with the SSCP.
It has been developed to provide an understanding of some of the key aspects of safeguarding in Somerset, including details of the Somerset Safeguarding Children Partnerhship, how to identify the needs of the families of the children you work with and how to request additional support should it be necessary.
In order to progress to the Advanced Child Protection Update course it is a requiement that this eLearning module is completed prior to booking.
Prerequisite(s):
- Introduction to Child Protection (Multi-agency) - SSCP attended no longer than 24 month(s) prior to today.
OR
- Introduction to Child Protection (Inter-Agency) (SCIL) attended no longer than 24 month(s) prior to today.
OR
- Advanced Child Protection Update (Multi-agency) attended no longer than 30 month(s) prior to today.
